Midlife, career shifts, relationship changes – times when we have to reimagine what we want, what’s true, and what will actually work for the life ahead.
If you feel this way, you’re not alone.

I created Vision Camp because I needed it myself.
I created Vision Camp because I needed it myself.
A few years ago, I hit a wall. I was burned out—on my work, my surroundings, and the version of life I’d been chasing. I knew something had to change, but I didn’t know how.
After years of wrestling with those questions, I harnessed my background in public speaking and personal storytelling to develop a powerful tool that helped me see clearly what mattered, share it honestly, and start making real change.
That process became the foundation of Vision Camp.
Today, I guide others through the same kind of reset—unplugged, in nature, supported by a circle of honest, grounded men who are ready to do the work.
Daniel Burwen – Coach & Facilitator
In Vision Camp, you’ll go through a structured process to build your Vision Deck – rooted in the five core pillars of commitment. It’s a powerful tool for defining and creating a life that’s aligned, authentic, and truly yours.
The Vision Deck is your life vision—captured in a personal, visual format that’s strategic, shareable, and deeply authentic. During Vision Camp, you’ll build it piece by piece, one pillar at a time.
The Vision Deck Framework helps you:
See how the process of thoughtful reflection and vision crafting can help bring clarity.
TESTIMONIALS
Hear from previous participants on their experiences at Vision Camp.
I find a lot of actionable value in my sessions with Daniel. His background in storytelling, design, and technology help him empathize with my specific needs on the career side, while his adventure lifestyle is inspiring to me personally. As a mid-life tech entrepreneur and sandwich generation dad, I hope to continue to build an accountability practice with Daniel to sharpen my resilience and growth mindset
Daniel‘s thoughtful facilitation in a group setting, allowed me to take time to reflect on the many aspects of life that have made me who I am today and shaped my values so that I could better understand how to craft vision for my future that feels aligned. It also reminded me of the importance to carry a vision for one’s life. And that it’s okay to frequently check in with yourself and update that vision. The practices and tools given to us through this experience are a true gift.
I don’t think we really understand just how important having a clear vision in life is. Without vision we’re just shooting in the dark and our lives are played out by luck. With a strong Vision we have the cornerstone to accomplishment, and Daniel’s Vision Camp is the roadmap to get there. It’s such a powerful tool to help create, envision, and employ one’s vision and dream for creating the life we desire.
What to expect and bring at the retreat
Vision Camp is for men navigating a life transition—career shifts, breakups, burnout, or just a quiet sense that something’s missing. You don’t need to be spiritual or a “retreat guy.” You just need to be ready for real reflection, honest conversation, and a willingness to make real change in your life.
Yes. Many of the men who come to Vision Camp feel that way. You’ll never be pressured to share more than you’re comfortable with. But the way we structure the weekend makes it surprisingly easy to open up—and most guys say it’s one of the most powerful parts.
This is a camping experience—you’ll bring your own gear and camp on the land. There’s an indoor classroom space where we’ll gather for group work, laptop work, and reflection, and plenty of time spent outdoors by the river, around the fire, and under the trees. It’s a mix of deep conversation, solo reflection, and shared experiences in nature.
We’ll provide hot water, cooking space, and basics like coffee and tea—but you’ll bring and prepare your own meals. Many participants share food and cook together casually, and it creates a great opportunity to bond.
Right now, Vision Camp is available on a $200–$400 sliding scale as we refine the experience. (The full price will eventually be $599–$999.) Your payment includes access to the full weekend experience, guided facilitation, and all workshop materials. The more you pay sliding scale, the more we can pay the facilitators. $200 is our floor to cover the base costs.
If you need to cancel, we ask that you do so at least 30 days in advance to receive a refund (minus a $25 admin fee). Cancellations made within 30 days of the retreat are non-refundable unless we’re able to fill your spot from the waitlist.
